Red is a very emotionally intense colour, also a colour of extremes. Our prehistoric ancestors saw red as the colour of fire and blood and most of red's symbolism today arises from its powerful associations in the past.
Red can be a perfect choice in industrial places, bars, restaurants, showrooms, offices, hotels, workshops as well as for more courageous taste in your private home. Imagine a dramatic feeling that red colour could bring into your interior design.
When it comes to flooring in general, Red wooden flooring is not a common choice. When it comes to Red oak hardwood flooring - our flooring - pure Red flooring is not in the range of what we produce, but we can offer floor colours with a lot of shades and tints of red. One of the most popular colours with red accents are Wild Rose, Rosewood and Light Nut. We have a lot of successfully finished projects featuring these colours in home interiors. The gallery with project images and ideas can be found online, our website ecohardwood.co.uk.

Engineered flooring choice of character
Upon your decision to purchase our engineered flooring, it is important to choose the finish of floors, for instance smooth (sanded), brushed, cross brushed or distressed.
It is also very important to mention that Ecohardwood Ltd supplies 3 available oak grades: rustic, nature and select. Depending on the grade, you will have engineered flooring with more or fewer knots. The rustic grade floor celebrates the character of the wood. Nature grade would have smaller and rarer knots and would be an absolutely beautiful flooring choice. The select grade would provide a neat and tidy look of the flooring. But let’s not forget that oak wood is a natural product which opens a natural beauty from nature. However, it is entirely your decision on what flooring design you envision in your beloved home.
